Pacific Foundation
Pacific Foundation Ghana is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) founded by Pacific Oil Ghana Ltd and its sister companies. This foundation is headed by Alhaji Zakari Ibrahim, who happens to be the Executive Chairman of Pacific Oil Ghana Ltd.
The foundation was officially launched in 2019, eventhough Pacific Oil Ghana Ltd has been helping people in one way or the other since its establishment in 2010.
The objective of setting up this foundation is to extend a helping hand to the poor and vulnerable in society; and most importantly providing the social needs of the people living in the communities in which these companies operate.
Some of the notable achievements of this foundation since its inception in 2019 is:
(i) the renovation of Mankessim Health Centre.
(ii) construction of drainage system and toilet facilities at Yamoransa.
(iii) commitment to the construction of boreholes at communities who have challenge accessing potable water.
(iv) providing 300.00 monthly allowance each to about 100 widows.
Pacific Oil Ghana Ltd through Pacific Foundation Ghana, has done a lot to support the effort of government in the fight against Covid 19 since its outbreak. We have succeeded in providing the following packages in the form of donations in this Covid 19 season:
(i) 100,000.00 into the national Covid 19 fund.
(ii) 30,000.00 worth of PPES to the Mfantseman Health Directorate.
(iii) 30,000.00 worth of PPES, and fuel allowance to the Sekyere South District Health Directorate of the Ashanti Region.
(iv) provision of food items and cash to the poor and vulnerable in the society.
Pacific Foundation Ghana has open its door to the general public who want to assist us achieve our objective.
